Bad Credit Used Car Loans - Advantages of Comparing Auto Loan Lenders

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Carrie_Reeder]Carrie Reeder When buying a used car with bad credit, do not begin the car buying process without doing your homework. Sadly, many car buyers are taken advantage of by dealerships. A few car dealerships advertise fresh start programs intended to help bad credit people rebuild credit. Instead of offering fair rates, some dealership charge excessive fees to innocent buyers. Thus, it is crucial to compare auto lenders before finalizing the car purchase. How Buying a Car Helps Improve Credit Many people with poor credit and no credit choose to finance a vehicle in an attempt to improve their credit rating. The key to re-establishing or building credit is opening new accounts and maintaining a good payment history. Those with bad credit can attest to how difficult it is to obtain credit cards and other types of loans. For this matter, secured credit accounts become necessary. Because auto loans are secured, these are easy to qualify for. Once you have been approved for an auto loan, strive to make all payments on time and never skip a payment. Each month that you make a regular payment, this will reflect on your credit report. In time, your score will rise, thus making it possible to attain additional lines of credit. Bad Credit Auto Loan Lenders If youve done your homework beforehand, you likely realize that bad credit auto loan lenders offer the best rates to individuals with poor credit. Unlike dealerships that offer excessive rates, bad credit lenders have a reputation for approving loans with fair rates. The objective is not to profit off of someones misfortune, rather to help people re-establish credit. How to Avoid Shady Auto Lenders Shady auto lenders are always on the prowl. Smart car buyers who obtain quotes from different lenders rarely fall prey to their tactics. However, if you accept the first auto loan offer received, and neglect shopping around, you may pay unreasonable fees. The single, most effective approach to avoiding a shady lender involves making loan comparisons. For quick and instant comparisons, complete a quote request with an online auto broker. Simply submit information regarding credit rating, income, and desired loan amount. Within minutes, the broker will remit at least four quotes from different lenders. Arizona Justice -The Case of the Unloaded B-B Gun

By Jack Wilson March 8-9, 2004 The case: Plaintiff sues Defendant for negligence in that her 11 year old son shot neighbor plaintiff’s 10 year old daughter with a BB gun. The BB lodged in the girl’s neck. This happened three years ago and the decision was made not to remove the BB, that leaving it there would be harmless. The Jury: 8 people; three men five women. Men: Me-72 years old, former school teacher, liberal democrat. Laughing fireman, age about 25-makes a joke about everything, always laughing. Ex-military, reading a Christian bestseller for his church group, age 70’s-pompous and smirking, self-righteous, wants to bring back corporal punishment. Women: Artist, in her 20’s, bright, gender not clear, tattoos burned off arms. Conservative, punitive. Foreperson by assumption- said she was 22 - very overweight math teacher-to-be, takes over, pushes others around, acts coy, talks incessantly. Well-to-do, married, in her 70’s, very conservative, intelligent. PE coach and nurse - in her 60’s, tough, coarse, conservative Married woman, sensible, caring, in her 50’s, conservative. The suit charged negligence. I felt that was not true. The mother had taught her son to be careful; the gun was kept in her room until she felt she could trust him, that he was not to use it without her being present. Someone else got the gun from the house, an older boy, and the son picked it up, called to the girl who was playing on the fence between the yards and said he was going to shoot, thinking it was empty. The girl turned, the boy shot, the BB hit. Doctors agree that BB need not be removed and no future problems should arise. The other 7 jurors were willing to listen to my argument, then ignored it, did not discuss, did not ponder. They had decided she was negligent, even though each one of them recounted a story or two about their own indiscretions as youngsters, and none was willing to say that their mothers were negligent; it’s just the sort of thing that can happen to kids. The group felt that there was no reason to award a large amount. We (I had been marginalized since I was not a signer, but I was able to participate) calculated the medical bills and added on $10,000 for pain and suffering and possible future surgery; even though three doctors said there would never be any need for it. We all thought that the attorneys for the plaintiff were obnoxious, ill-prepared and sarcastic. The judge seemed uncomfortable. When the clerk read the verdict, she had to ask the judge to verify for her that the figure was correct, seemed to find it unbelievably low. No emotion was registered by anyone in the court, no smile no frown. Only one of the jurors who signed the verdict was willing to stay and answer questions. She was the caring married woman and she gave a good summary to the lawyers and litigants. I stayed also and told my point of view. This was the second jury I served on. The first one was an armed robbery case. The verdict was guilty, and I concurred, but the process was hurried and careless. I had to get them to go over the evidence again so we could have a reasonable discussion. Some jurors expressed thanks that we spent more time on it. It is not fair or reasonable for me to draw any vast conclusion from these two experiences, but it certainly makes me wonder about the jury system. Post Script: The day after I prepared this article for eZineArticles I received a notice that I have been called up for jury duty, again. Mind Calling - Depression Bipolar ADD Is It Really A Disorder?

By Gina Bucci Who am I? Who Was I? A straight A student, entrepreneur, fine artist, seamstress, jeweler, crafter, teacher, graphic artist, successful custom muralist, advertising sales career peaking at $100K a year age 35. A lovely caring mother of two. Yet, I have a disorder. Have you been diagnosed bipolar? add? I’ve been prescribed everything for my highly emotional being, state of mind, people call me bubbly happy go lucky. My family say different. Everyone experiences ups and downs. I was fortunate and had 30 years of the good life in Orange County, California. At 36 I have a miracle son with some special needs, and a divorce shortly after. Sure I am going to be sad an irritable. One of the main stressors in life is the loss of a loved one, whether it be passing or divorce. There is no pill that is going to make people happy during these grieving times. It can take women 2 yrs to deal with this anxiety/depression and men even more up to 3yrs. Depending on your situation. Always remember take your vitamins, get out and ride your bike and or just walk. Releasing of positive endorphins does work. In my extensive research I have found some reference to my supposed conditions: Brilliant; Creative; Artistic; Where is the disorder? WHERE IS THE DISORDER. One of multiple psycho therapists relayed to me: Christopher Columbus discovered the new world because he was brilliant; creative and a risk taker. She stated he had ADD tendencies. Good for him! I’d call it attention to detail, maybe attention compulsive but deficit? Where? Everyone gets bored. Everyone likes entertainment. My mother used to always say to me “You can’t be entertained 24 hours a day!” We learn, we do, we move on to discover. So be it where’s the disorder? Yes during a crisis an anxiety medication, zanax and or others can help temporarily. Surprisingly I did take an add self test and my Dr. recently prescribed Ritalin, and I got out of my sadness, bed rest, and actually started enjoying my life again. I started cooking, cleaning, organizing. I was shocked I needed something they prescribe children to help me out of this divorce rut. Literally, I got my paints out and painted pictures, the next day I broke out my sewing machine and made some cool stuff. Kids and I went on a bike ride. Amazing. This low dose 10mg once a day for a month got me back to who I used to be. Research you do not want to abuse any medication. Always experiment with very low dosages. To see if the reaction works with you. Moral of my story, it may help you that’s my hope. Check out my website www.olivegrapes.usana.com Nutritional supplements work, period. Get Ready to Quilt Your Quilt

By Bev McClune When it comes to quilt making the final product is a reflection of the skill of the quilter. Accomplished quilters know how all of the steps in the process are essential to the outcome of the quilt. Even preparing your quilt top is important and is not the time to take shortcuts. Here are some handy tips to make getting your quilt ready for quilting easier - without compromising on quality. Choosing the backing How much backing you will need depends on the size of your quilt. It is best if it is 4 larger all the way around than your quilt top. This will require the backing to be 8 wider in width and 8 longer in length than the size of your quilt top. If you are joining two pieces of fabric together for use as a backing, it is best that you make the join on the lengthwise grain. Sewing the material in this manner will produce the absolute best environment for the back of your quilt, ensuring fewer problems when pinning and machine quilting. Many quilters like to piece the backing for their quilt, using up left over fabric. It is important that you are aware that this can create problems for you when you attempt to machine quilt the quilt. The possibility of the fabric swimming and creating puckering is much higher when the backing has many joins, as they are not always on the straight grain. For easier and more successful quilting try to stick to just one join down the lengthwise grain. Once you have completed pinning your quilt, you do not want to have regrets about a decision made to save a few dollars one that could end up taking the fun out of quilting. Make wise choices to get the best results. Making the sandwich Now that you have your quilt top and your backing, you need to decide on the type of wadding you will use. Your wadding, like your backing should be 4 larger all the way around than your quilt top. This allows the use of tape or bulldog clips for anchoring the backing and batting down. On top of these layers, you will place your quilt top in preparation for pinning. It is wise to press your quilt top and backing before you attempt to assemble the quilt sandwich. Many times quilters take shortcuts, such as skipping pressing, which can have an undesirable affect on the outcome of the final product. Pinning the quilt top What is one of the most important tips for pinning a quilt top? Use only good quality stainless steel safety pins. Using cheap pins in your quilt can end up being a very expensive lesson. What if something happened and you had to postpone the quilting? If you have used inferior pins, you run the risk of rust ruining your quilt. The ideal size is approximately 1 long pin. As the pin needs to go through three layers, any smaller will be too hard to close. A larger gauge pin will leave too big of a hole. Remember to use the good quality pins found at your quilt shop. If you use cheap pins you risk having rust ruin your quilt. A great tool that makes pin basting your quilt layers easier, safer and faster is the KwikKlip. Using KwikKlip the safety pins close with ease, preventing broken nails, pricked fingers and sore fingertips. The time it takes to pin baste is reduced dramatically. Choosing marking tools There are some great choices when it comes to marking quilt designs there is no need to get in a sweat about it! The decision depends on what type of design you desire on your quilt. Some options are: freezer paper, quilt and tear paper, Clover blue washout marker, Clover Chaco liner, and Clover water soluble pencils. A quilting class is the ideal place to gain skills, learn in detail about the different alternatives and discover which you prefer. Templates are used by some quilters, but are not as popular a choice as the other options for marking. They can be clumsy and restricting to use. They are a more expensive choice and do not offer the flexibility that the other marking alternatives provide. Would you like an expert to show you just how to turn your quilt into a work of art? The Machine Quilting Journey DVD with Bev McClune is the perfect workshop for beginners and those who want to go back to basics. Bev, an award winning machine quilter and professional quilting tutor, demonstrates how to pin your quilt with ease, the proper way of starting and stopping your lines of stitching and the joys of free motion quilting. Distance Education Software

By Kevin Stith Distance education, is a technique of offering education through correspondence or online. It makes it possible for students to receive education in far-off places. In Distance education, educational materials are sent to the students through various means such as tutorials, audiotapes, videos, satellite broadcasts, and also through CD’s. Interactive videoconferencing generally helps a teacher to deliver lectures in a virtual classroom. The different facilities and services available through the network generally include online listing, accessibility of online video materials, distribution of course materials, and constant communication, with tutors or instructors and fellow students through e-mail. Distance education software is also used to encourage, reputed institutions to start distance education programs. Interactive videoconferencing is the most useful software developed, and it has helped to change the way distance education is imparted. The growing technical software makes it possible for colleges to adapt distance-learning programs, by easily mixing online-learning software from multiple companies. Many colleges around the world are now getting involved in creating new standards, and many institutions, corporations, and government bodies have also started applying for them. These standards are still being developed, and it is assumed that it could take years to be implemented. Professors with the help of this software can create, a database of the attendance record of students in each of their courses. Professors would have to individually update the lists, whenever students join or drop out of a course, with the help of the advanced software. With the help of this software, the curriculum can be arranged and rearranged easily, to accommodate different learning styles. A professor can also include evaluation tools, to track a student’s progress through the material. When content can easily be rearranged, distance education without doubt is likely to expand quickly. Online sites are available that give detailed information, and latest updated news of how soon this software will be introduced. Distance Education provides detailed information on Distance Education, Distance Education Programs, Online Distance Education, Christian Distance Education and more. Distance Education is affiliated with Christian Home Schooling. Why Do Men Find Cheating On Their Partners Irresistible?

By Oscar Uzoma Lately, it’s been one embarrassing episode of unfaithfulness after the other. On Reality Tv-they even have a program called cheaters- the Jerry Springer show etc. Everywhere you turn to, it is like there is a shortage of good men. I mean high-quality, faithful men who would not dare think of anyone outside their partners. This does not mean that there aren’t unfaithful women. We’ll discuss that soon. But today, its all about the men. So, I set out on a fact-finding mission; determined to get to the root of the problem. Before setting out, I’d had heard so many opinions. Some stated that it was genetic, some said it was to boost their ego, others said they simply could not help leering at other women even when they have got a gorgeous woman with them. So it got me thinking and asking…. 1.Were there no honourable men out there except Yours truly? Yes I dated just one person for the past eight years and did not have any extra affair. Hard to believe? Maybe. But its true. If you want to find out, get in touch. 2.Was there really a dearth of faithful husbands, boyfriends, fiance et.c? 3.Could it be possible that there was something more to it? 4.Or could our women be responsible for our acts of infidelity? 5. Have our values been so destroyed that we do not encourage the beautiful principles of faithfulness, loyalty, honesty? I sampled opinions from both sexes and got varied responses. 1.Some women stated blatantly that men were just who they were. Men! Whatever that means. 2.Some said they did it just for the fun of it. Just to see if they’ve gone rusty at the “game” 3.Still, others said it was to protect their fragile male ego.”He had to prove to himself that he was attractive and appreciated by women. It was his way of judging himself and his own self worth”. 4. To make up for an emptiness. Maybe he wants a lot more sex, more dynamism. A little innovation and the woman is not coming up with any ideas, or he’s simply tired of telling her or initiating it. This same thing applies to women. It is just that women do theirs for emotional?- or is it?- reasons. 5.Loneliness. It is possible that his partner is not as available he wants her. Y’know she’s the high-powered corporate executive who simply has to dash in and out.She hardly spends time with him because of her job demands. 6. He’s just plain selfish and immature.Whether they’re immature, greedy or just haven’t got a clue, some men don’t value or respect their partners. Some could be so needy, all they want to do is take as much as they possible can from their women. And when she refuses maybe because she’s tired or has had a very hectic day either at home, school, work, anywhere, he gets annoyed and takes it out on her as a form of revenge. 7. Frustration. He’s been feeling low and depressed recently because his boss is just a plain a**hole who never appreciates anything regardless of how well he’s done the job. So he dates someone else to see if he’s really that bad and detestable. 8. She nags. O yes! There were so many comments on that. Ladies, please be careful how you treat your man. Never put him down harshly. Don’t criticize him negatively or without compassion in the front of strangers. Treat him nice. Medical doctors have found that men who have nagging women as their partners are more likely to stray and find succour in women who are nice to them. Women who give them attention So, at least we now know why men do what they do. Is there a solution to this? Well, yes. Trust me. It all lies in making a commitment to your partner. How I was able to keep mine going was to make her the standard and yardstick for determining how beautiful other women are. As far as I was concerned, there was none as beautiful as her, none second to her. She was my everything. My air, my heart, the sun that brightened my day. It did not matter to me who other women were. As long as I had her, it was enough for me. As Henry Ford said when he was asked what kept his marriage going, he said ” Be content.” There folks. That’s it. http://dating-tips-for-males.blogspot.com offers more Dating Tips, Information, Resources on How To Keep Your Partner, Attract, Seduce, and Meet Your Dream Partner. Especially in Marriage, Attitude is Everything

By Ted Segura Attitude is Everything! This is a powerful phrase written in a lot of books on success such as Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich and A Positive Mental Attitude, John Maxwell’s The Winning Attitude and Attitudes of Amazing Achievers by Philip Baker. They send a strong message that an important key element for one to be a successful person in any field he takes, he must have a Positive Attitude. Famous people such as Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods and many Olympic champions said that it was necessary to prepare themselves to excel and win with a positive mental attitude. Learning from the experts, we can definitely be sure that a positive attitude is also a key element for a successful marriage. Otherwise, they can have a love advice relationship problem. Can you imagine if a couple always had a positive attitude, how much easier it would be for them to love each other. It will help them think more of the other and only the good in the other. Decision-making will be made better with the right attitude of both partners. The husband and wife are happier because with a positive attitude they become optimistic. When they are optimistic, they then believe that anything is possible. They start to dream-build together and always work towards a brighter future for them and their family. And with this in mind, the joy and enthusiasm in their married life is kept alive. This addresses the potential love advice relationship problems that may occur. Attitude is also contagious. Let us share with you about our mother who is a very happy person. Because she has such a positive attitude, she never shows any sign of worry or fear and she is always there for the other. She attracts people to her and is loved by all her grandchildren. In fact they say we never see grandma frown nor angry. She is fun to be with. Wouldn’t you want your friends and loved ones to think of you that way too? Yes a positive attitude will bring a healthy relationship not only to the spouses but also to the children. Any member of the family will want to come home to this wonderful atmosphere. It is everyone’s desire to be happy. Therefore, let’s work only on the positive and not on the negative. Surely the love between the spouses brings out the positive attitude of the other. It is important to nurture this everyday especially for couples who want to have a successful married life. This will resolve the potential love advice relationship problems that may occur. Let’s keep in mind that Attitude is Everything! Let’s live life with a Positive Attitude! The Healing Arts: A Firetender’s Lesson, Part Three - Holding A Sacred Trust

By Russ Reina Nobody knows how far back the Chips’ lineage goes. It’s fair to surmise that it went way back, perhaps thousands of unbroken years along with the Sioux. The records start in the early 1800s with two boys from different families who were orphaned at an early age. They were adopted by a Grandmother, who raised them as brothers. One’s name was Woptura (Wo-p-tuch-ha). The other one’s name was Curly, who, as he got older became known as Crazy Horse. Woptura was recognized early on as carrying the Medicine. Some say he is one of the Immortals. It was he who made the medicine bundle that Crazy Horse wore in his hair that kept him impervious to bullets in war. (Crazy Horse did have his jaw shot through by the jealous husband of a lover, but that was the only such wound he suffered in his time, and never in war.) The day that Crazy Horse was lured into a nearby fort and held captive, family legend has it that Woptura rode behind him, furiously trying to catch him to give him back the bundle upon which he had been making repairs. He was too late. Crazy Horse, unprotected for perhaps the first time in many years, had been killed. Woptura lived in very turbulent times. Around the turn of the century, all the Sioux children were taken from their families and put into Missionary Schools. Speaking the Native languages was forbidden, and all practicing of the medicine ways, songs, ceremonies, and rituals was banned at the risk of heavy punishment by the government. An old man by now, Woptura went underground and kept the medicine ways alive. John “Fire” Lame Deer states that all Lakota Medicine people today trace their lineage back to Woptura. It was Woptura, most believe, who originated the Yuwipi ceremony. Woptura had a son who inherited his Medicine. He was named Charles “Horn” Chips. “Chips” was the best the government agents could do when the family tried to explain that woptura was the thin, fine particulate film that lies on the very top of pond water. Others described it as the very fine powder from ground buffalo horn. Even today, some members of the family spell their name Chipps to distinguish themselves from the government designation. Charles “Horn” Chips had a son named Ellis. Ellis did not inherit the powers yet he was a tremendously accomplished Singer who went on to create the Sioux National Anthem. Ellis, living on the Pine Ridge Reservation, married a woman named Victoria from the Rosebud Reservation, about 75 miles East, and they had three sons. When it was found that the youngest, Godfrey, would talk to the Spirits during Yuwipi Ceremonies (as offered by Horn Chips), Ellis obtained government permission to remove him from Grammar School and take on the full-time duty of training him in the Medicine ways. To the best of my knowledge, Godfrey was the last Medicine Man to have been granted that privilege. The “edict,” which I saw, stated that if father and son, or Godfrey alone were found in town on a school day, they would both be jailed. Ellis brought his son from Medicine Man to Medicine Man for his trainings, while also teaching him all that he himself had learned while assisting his Father. It was quite a while before I became familiar with this history. For the longest time, all I knew was that this family, whom I was quickly learning to love, carried something very powerful and special when their intent was focused on the good of others, and it was in their blood. I had been brought to some people to be shown an example of Spirit in action. They allowed me to learn and participate with them in the sacred ceremony and ritual of their people. They were extremely controversial amongst their people. Ellis had been told by Spirit in the 1980’s that the Cannunpa was for everyone. They were the only Traditionals at the time who welcomed seekers of all colors and orientations into what had once been almost exclusive territory to people with Native American blood. By way of explanation, Charles offered, “There’s a lot of Indian spirits around, and not enough indian bodies to come back to.” Not once was I told what or how to believe. I was always directed to continue to cultivate my own relationship with Spirit, to build my own medicine, to find how Spirit spoke to me so that I could then help others. If I ran into their Lakota spirits in the process, well then, it wasn’t for me to swallow what I was told about them, it was my challenge to build a relationship with what was really there. And this was why, when I was asked about Sundance, even at that early juncture in my relationship with the Chips, I knew it wasn’t Godfrey’s request. Next: A brutal reality.
